This piece titled ‘Darfur’ was created in response to viewing a documentary about the “Darfur Genocide” in Western Sudan the started in 2003 and has been noted as the first genocide in the 21st century. Since its creation in 2008, ‘Darfur’ has been exhibited throughout South Florida including fundraising efforts to support an orphanage in Rwanda, Africa.
